One of the worlds largest automotive manufacturers, has an immediate job opportunity for an Electrical Engineer at the Aiken County PSR/LTR Plant. This position is responsible for the design, installation and continuous improvement of assigned machines and controls in order to maximize the safety, quality and operating efficiency of the plant. Strong project management and PLC programming skills are required. Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs drives and servos and power distribution is desired. CAD experience is not required, but engineers are responsible for ensuring that drawings are correct and initiating changes when needed. This position is also responsible for maintenance technical support as needed.

Job Details
1. Designing, maintaining, and improving electrical instruments and equipment.
2. Inspecting completed projects to ensure conformance with design standards.
3. Applying principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
4. Utilizing software for the design and debugging of system hardware.
5. Developing and implementing project schedules and workflows.
6. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system consistency.
7. Creating specification and design documents.
8. Understanding and ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
9. Analyzing electrical engineering problems and formulating and implementing effective solutions.
10. Conducting research and studies to support the development of new electrical systems and modifications.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the position of Permanent Electrical Engineer, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role with a focus on power systems, circuit design, and electrical design.
3. Proficiency in analog and digital electronics.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
5. Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
6. Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
7. Proficient in the use of design and calculation software.
8. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
9. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
