Role Overview:We are seeking a
Java EE Developer to support modernization and cloud migration initiatives. The developer will analyze legacy Java EE components, assist in application rationalization, and contribute to transforming enterprise-grade applications into cloud-native architectures.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze legacy Java EE components (EJB, JPA, SOAP services) for architectural decision-making.
- Participate in application rationalization and transformation planning.
- Extract and document detailed business requirements and rules from existing code.
- Identify and record technical debt, design patterns, and architectural details within legacy systems.
- Assist in migrating legacy systems to cloud-native platforms, emphasizing microservices and API-driven architectures.
- Utilize AI code analysis tools for examining legacy Java EE applications.
Minimum Required Skills & Experience:- 12+ Years: Hands-on experience in Java and Java EE development, including EJB, JPA, and SOAP-based services.
- 12+ Years: Proficiency in Java SE 1.8 and Java EE 8, including deployment on enterprise-grade application servers.
- 12+ Years: Experience with object-relational mapping and integrating persistence layers with business logic.
- 10+ Years: Ability to work with cross-functional teams (architects, business analysts, security engineers).
- 8+ Years: Experience with AI code analysis tools for static analysis and pattern recognition.
- 8+ Years: Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- 8+ Years: Exposure to cloud-native transformation strategies (containerization, elastic scaling, loosely coupled interfaces).
- 8+ Years: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
- 2+ Years: Experience using AI development tools.
Preferred Skills:- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with requirement elicitation and documentation.
