Summary

IMMEDIATE NEED FOR A HIGHWAY PROJECT DESIGN ENGINEER
Direct Hire - Hybrid - Pittsburgh, PA
Occasional travel to sites and client locations - some overnights required.
Up to $125,000.00 starting salary +

Summary of What You Will Be Doing

Performing a variety of supervisory and engineering design functions on small and mid-sized projects.
Coordinating work with Structures/Highway Department.
Receiving assignments and direction from Department Manager, Project Managers, and Work Group Leaders - Mentor less experienced staff.
Preparing contract specs and addendums during the project advertisement phase.
Assembling submittals, including PS&E submissions and Final Structure Plan submittals.

Required Qualifications

BS Degree in Civil Engineering.
PE license.
8+ years of highway design and bridge design experience
Understanding of PennDOT and PA Turnpike Commission's design development
Bentley MicroStation.
