Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Veeva Vault Certified Technical Lead to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will architect, configure, and maintain our enterprise Veeva Vault ecosystem across Clinical, Regulatory, and Quality domains. You will lead complex implementations, migrations, and lifecycle management for validated systems, ensuring compliance and optimal performance in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Architecture: Serve as the subject matter expert for Veeva Vault platform capabilities. Design and implement scalable configurations, including objects, document types, workflows, security models, and integrations (via Vault API) to support business processes across Clinical (eTMF, CTMS, Safety), Regulatory (RIM), and Quality Vaults. Migration Management: Plan, architect, and execute end-to-end data migration projects from legacy systems (e.g., SharePoint, Documentum, legacy CTMS) into Veeva Vault. Develop migration strategies, oversee data mapping, cleansing, and loading (using Vault Loader or custom scripts), ensuring data integrity and compliance. Validated System Lifecycle Management: Own the change control and release management processes for GxP-validated Vaults. Develop and maintain validation documentation (URS, FS, Test Scripts, Traceability Matrix). Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate deployments in partnership with QA and Business teams. Clinical Vault Expertise: Provide deep configuration and operational support for Clinical Vaults (eTMF, CTMS, Safety). Optimize study-centric configurations, reporting, and user experience to meet clinical operation needs and ensure inspection readiness. Project Delivery & Collaboration: Lead technical workstreams for new implementations and enhancements. Work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting, effectively communicating with stakeholders, business analysts, and other IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Platform Optimization & Support: Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend system improvements. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of internal best practices and standards. Required Qualifications Veeva Vault Certification: Must hold a current Veeva Vault Certified Technical Lead certification (non-negotiable). Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on Veeva Vault configuration and administration experience in a life sciences environment. Domain Knowledge: Proven, strong expertise in Clinical Vaults specifically eTMF, CTMS, and Safety (Pharmacovigilance). Additional experience with Regulatory or Quality Vaults is a significant plus. Technical & Process Skills: Demonstrated success leading data migrations into Veeva Vault. Expertise in Computer System Validation (CSV) and managing systems in a GxP-regulated environment. Proficient in change control, release management, and SDLC processes. Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be a proactive, self-directed professional capable of managing priorities and delivering results in a fully remote work environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience integrating Veeva Vault with other clinical systems (EDC, IRT, etc.) or enterprise platforms. Knowledge of clinical processes and standards (TMF Reference Model, ICH-Google Cloud Platform, 21 CFR Part 11). Experience with Veeva Vault APIs and scripting for automation.
