SAP Ariba Contract Compliance Lead
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $80-$90/hour
We are seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Contract Compliance Lead to design, implement, and operationalize a newly created Contract Compliance function. This role will be responsible for building a scalable, end-to-end process that ensures purchase orders (POs) are consistently and accurately linked to contracts within SAP Ariba.
Key Responsibilities
< data-start="1326" data-end="1386">Contract Compliance Process Design & Implementation>
Lead the design and rollout of a new contract compliance framework from the ground up.
Establish standardized processes that ensure all purchase orders are systematically tied to executed contracts.
Reduce manual work and improve traceability, audit readiness, and compliance.
Define, document, and optimize workflows across sourcing, contracting, and procurement functions.
< data-start="1771" data-end="1811">SAP Ariba Functional Leadership>
Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP Ariba Upstream (Contracts, Sourcing) and Downstream (Buying & Invoicing) modules.
Configure and optimize Ariba functionality to support contract compliance objectives.
Partner with integration and enabling capabilities teams to ensure seamless system connectivity and data flow.
< data-start="2141" data-end="2181">Supplier Master Data Management>
Design and maintain a robust Supplier Master structure aligned to contract hierarchies and sourcing strategies.
Ensure supplier data accuracy, integrity, and alignment with contractual terms.
Support governance practices related to supplier onboarding and data maintenance.
< data-start="2463" data-end="2502">Cross-Functional Collaboration>
Partner closely with Procurement, Contract Management, and Enabling Capabilities teams to align compliance goals with business strategies.
Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating requirements into effective system solutions.
Drive stakeholder adoption through clear communication and process enablement.
< data-start="2853" data-end="2908">Reporting, Monitoring & Continuous Improvement>
Develop dashboards and reporting to monitor contract compliance, operational efficiency, and supplier performance.
Analyze data to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Provide insights and recommendations to continuously enhance the contract compliance model.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience leading SAP Ariba contract compliance or related procurement process implementations.
Strong functional expertise in SAP Ariba Contracts, Sourcing, Buying, and Invoicing modules.
Hands-on experience designing and supporting Supplier Master data structures.
Deep understanding of sourcing, contracting, and procurement operations in complex environments.
Demonstrated ability to engineer new processes, drive adoption, and support ongoing operations.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently while partnering effectively across cross-functional teams.
