Title: Network Administrator
Location: Vienna, Virginia (hybrid)
Duration: Initial 6 months contract with extensions
Compensation: $42.00-$49.00/hr.

Join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the stability, integrity, and availability of Navy Federal s enterprise systems and networks. This position provides 24x7 technical support, monitoring, and incident resolution to maintain optimal performance across our infrastructure.

What You ll Do>
- Monitor enterprise systems and networks using tools such as LogicMonitor, Moogsoft, and SolarWinds to ensure continuous availability.
- Respond to alerts and alarms, troubleshoot issues, and escalate incidents as needed.
- Identify trends and analyze network performance to proactively address potential issues.
- Create and manage tickets in a service management application; monitor and maintain ticket queues.
- Collaborate with internal ISD teams and external vendors to resolve outages or performance degradation.
- Contact global vendors and service providers for joint troubleshooting and service restoration.
- Maintain, configure, and perform preventative maintenance on network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls).
- Update and document technical procedures for operational consistency.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We re Looking For>
- Basic knowledge of enterprise systems and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN topologies, protocols, and standards (e.g., T1, T3, Metro Ethernet, TCP/IP, BGP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with service management tools for incident tracking and resolution.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications>
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- CCNA or CCNP certifications.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches, including installation and configuration.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and knowledge of technical interrelationships between hardware, software, and network systems.
