Position Summary...

What you'll do...
Sam's Club Member Access Platform (MAP) is redefining how brands connect with our members through meaningful, measurable advertising experiences. We're seeking a Manager of Process Automation to accelerate innovation and efficiency across our operations. This role will begin by leading automation initiatives that enhance brand and shelf page creation, and evolve into a broader mandate to reimagine business processes through technology, workflow optimization, and AI-driven solutions.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of operations, technology, and innovation ideal for a process-focused problem solver passionate about using automation and AI to simplify complexity and drive scalable impact.
What You'll Do
  • Lead Automation for Brand & Shelf Page Creation: Support the existing brand and shelf page creation process while driving the transition of page creation from manual execution to technology-led automation. Partner with Creative Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to identify inefficiencies, document workflows, and design automated solutions using Walmart technology platforms.
  • Reimagine & Simplify Workflows: Analyze operational processes to identify high-impact opportunities for automation and integration. Design, pilot, and scale improvements that reduce cross-team handoffs and improve delivery speed, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Develop & Deploy AI and Workflow Solutions: Lead early discovery and implementation of AI agents and intelligent systems to support routine operational tasks. Collaborate with technical teams to configure and integrate these solutions into MAP systems.
  • Partner Across Teams: Work cross-functionally with Creative Operations, Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to define business requirements, design process improvements, and implement technology-based solutions.
  • Build System Configurations & Integrations: Explore opportunities to better configure and maintain internal systems such as Salesforce and workflow tools to improve user experience and drive automation and simplification. Define and document integration requirements between systems to enable seamless data and task orchestration.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Establish feedback loops and monitoring mechanisms to evaluate automation performance and scalability. Iterate quickly, refining systems and processes based on data and stakeholder input.
  • Champion Innovation & Change Adoption: Foster a culture of curiosity and innovation helping teams adopt new technologies, AI-driven workflows, and process improvement practices that drive measurable impact.

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in process management, automation, or system configuration, ideally within technology-driven or operations-heavy environments.
  • Experience with commercial systems such as Salesforce and Appian. Including system configuration, process automation, or integration projects that enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI agents, workflow automation, or business process orchestration tools. Exposure to AI workflow orchestration, LLM-powered automation, or agentic AI systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systems mindset and ability to translate operational challenges into technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with technical teams (Product, Engineering, or Data) and business stakeholders to deliver technology-enabled process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to simplify complex processes and influence cross-functional partners.
  • Curiosity and adaptability - comfortable learning new systems, experimenting with emerging technologies, and scaling what works.
