Role Overview:

We are seeking a senior, hands-on SAP MDG Functional Consultant & Test Lead to drive the end-to-end implementation and quality assurance of our Master Data Governance landscape. This dual-focus role requires a candidate who can configure MDG solutions (Material, Customer, Supplier, or Finance) while simultaneously owning the testing strategy, execution, and defect management life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Functional Consulting:
• Lead requirement gathering workshops and translate business needs into Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
• Hands-on configuration of MDG Data Models, UI Modeling (FPM), and Process Modeling.
• Configure complex Rule-Based Workflows (BRF+) and validations/derivations.
• Manage Data Replication Framework (DRF) and Key/Value mapping for downstream systems.

• Test Leadership:
• Define the Global Test Strategy (Unit, SIT, UAT, and Regression) for the MDG workstream.
• Design comprehensive test scenarios covering "Create, Change, Block, and Unblock" master data processes.
• Manage the Defect Life Cycle using tools like SAP Solution Manager (SolMan), Jira, or HP ALM/Octane.
• Lead UAT sessions with business stakeholders, ensuring all "Edge Cases" in data governance are validated.
• Oversee automated testing efforts (e.g., Tricentis Tosca) to ensure high-velocity deployments.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• SAP MDG: 8+ years of hands-on experience (S/4HANA preferred).
• Domains: Expertise in at least two domains (MDG-M, MDG-S, MDG-C, or MDG-F).
• Technical Tools: Proficiency in BRF+, FPM (Floorplan Manager), ALE/IDOCs, and SOA services.
• Testing Tools: Expertise in SAP Solution Manager, Focused Build, or Tricentis Tosca.
• Methodology: Strong experience in Agile/SAFe and the SAP Activate Methodology.
