Summary
Summary:
Responsible for performing processes related to Know Your Customer (KYC/CIP), assessing the quality of KYC reviews, and assisting with specialized projects within Client Onboarding and/or Periodic Review Quality Control.
Responsibilities:
- Support KYC onboarding and/or periodic review processes by reviewing quality of the analyst team's collection, validation, and analysis of customer documentation.
- Support Analyst team in conducting risk assessments and customer due diligence in accordance with regulatory standards through 2nd level/quality control reviews.
- Coordinate with analysts, compliance officers, client management, and relationship managers to resolve KYC deficiencies or information gaps.
- Monitor alerts and help investigate potential financial crime risks.
- Ensure adherence to FCC guidelines and contribute to reporting and audit support.
- Provide quality check for new client onboardings and/or updates made to existing customer KYC records, including appropriate documentation review.
- Perform quality check reviews on alerts or cases and tracks deficiencies in order to enhance procedural standards, taking initiative to suggest, plan and implement changes.
- Working with the KYC VP, ensure business continuity under all conditions, sometimes adverse, with strict adherence to established guidelines and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Very strong technical knowledge of AML, Bank Secrecy Act, Foreign Asset Control, KYC (Know Your Customer) process and regulations.
- Very Strong knowledge of KYC, AML, and FCC regulatory frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of banking policies, statutory and compliance regulations, and market practices related to compliance operations.
- Good judgement and time-management, a sense of urgency and accountability, and the ability to think critically.
- Experience working with compliance systems and document review.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through verbal and written communication.
- Ability to train others and handle sensitive information.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to execute in a high-pressure environment.
