Senior IT Solution Architect

Introduction:

The Senior IT Solution Architect will play a vital role in our team, providing expertise in various technologies such as Amazon Web Services, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Asset Management, Esri, SAP, Geographic Information System, Middleware, Microsoft Azure, and Estimating. The successful candidate will work closely with utility organizations, focusing on Asset Management and Work Management, SAP EAM, GIS experience (especially with ESRI products), and cloud computing experience.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize utility experience in Asset Management and Work Management to design and implement IT solutions.
• Work with SAP EAM systems to optimize asset management processes.
• Utilize GIS experience, especially with ESRI products, to enhance geographic information systems.
• Implement and manage cloud computing solutions, including AWS, Azure, and others, to improve scalability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with electric engineering tools and technology, such as CAD and design tools, to support engineering projects.
• Utilize tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar to create and communicate architectural designs.
• Provide expertise in estimating and estimating tools (e.g., EES) to support project planning and budgeting.
• Work on joint pole assets, activities, and technology to ensure effective asset management and maintenance.
• Resolve technical issues related to Cybersecurity, middleware, and database administration, collaborating with support organizations as needed.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Experience with Asset Management and Work Management in utility organizations.
• Proficiency in SAP EAM systems.
• Strong GIS experience, especially with ESRI products.
• Cloud computing experience, including AWS, Azure, etc.
• Knowledge of electric engineering tools and technology, such as CAD and design tools.
• Proficiency in tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar for architectural design.
• Expertise in estimating and estimating tools (e.g., EES).
• Understanding of joint pole assets, activities, and technology.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cybersecurity practices and technologies.
• Knowledge of middleware systems and technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
