Summary
Video Triage Engineer
Introduction: As a Video Triage Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and high-quality software releases across various devices. Your role will involve overseeing the entire release lifecycle, collaborating with development and QA teams, evaluating and implementing new tools, and managing risks that could impact release scope, schedule, or quality.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and resolving issues using Linux systems and networking protocols.
- Developing techniques to proactively identify and address system issues.
- Analyzing data to detect patterns and anomalies for troubleshooting purposes.
- Leading teams, mentoring colleagues, and communicating technical insights to stakeholders.
Requirements:
Mandatory Skills Required:
- 7+ years of experience in relevant technology.
- Working knowledge of RDK domain (Video).
- Hands-on experience with networking, WiFi, and IP Video.
- Strong debugging skills on Linux-based platforms.
Skillset:
- 5+ years of C/C++ and Linux experience.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
- Proficiency in SCM tools like Git & GitHub.
- Knowledge of embedded systems.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure like AWS, Azure, etc.
- Familiarity with monitoring systems like Datadog, CloudWatch, etc.
- Understanding of continuous integration/deployment processes and tools.
- Experience in Set-top boxes / RDK-Video is a plus.
