AIR is preparing for growth in 2026! We are adding to several departments in accounting with our anticipated growth. Are you ready to take on a new challenge? As an Accounting Manager, you will manage a group of accountants and will be responsible for various data gathering, tracking, and record keeping (financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning; preparing of financial schedules, statements, and reports)
Where You Will Work Our corporate office is located in the
Denver Tech Center. Our office spans the top two floors of the building and features expansive views of the mountains and the downtown skyline.
AIR values relationships and the benefits from working side by side with teammates, therefore this position will be
in-office 5 days a week to support operations.
What You Will Do- Risk, Capital, and Insurance Accounting: Oversee technical and operational accounting for these workstreams, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of accountants by providing guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for growth and development.
Staff Management: Supervise assigned staff, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and decisions on promotions, terminations, or reassignments.
Financial Management: Direct accounting and financial analysis activities across areas such as auditing, budgeting, cost accounting, general ledger, and program cost control and scheduling.
Reconciliation Oversight: Review and approve account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and GAAP.
Process Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance processes and communicate policies and procedures across the team and other departments.
Technical Expertise: Apply advanced accounting concepts, theories, and principles to develop solutions, ensuring adherence to FASB, GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Systems Development: Serve as a subject matter expert in the development and enhancement of accounting software and systems.
Insurance Accounting: Manage accounting for all insurance policies, including renewals, monthly amortization, refunds, and compliance with policy requirements.
Risk Event Accounting: Oversee accounting for casualty events, including claims management through resolution.
Capital Accounting: Maintain ownership of the asset module, oversee capital allocations, and manage fixed asset accounting.
Cross-Functional Representation: Act as the primary accounting contact for explaining current-period actual results to FP&A, Capital Finance, Operations Finance, and other teams.
SOX Compliance: Perform SOX control procedures, including walkthroughs and providing information to internal and external auditors. Manage the overall SOX process and serve as a key lead for external audits.

Qualifications
What You Have- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5-7 years related experience.
- CPA preferred.
- Experience supervising associate-level employees required.
- Knowledge and experience working with financial systems such as Workday and/or Blackline.
- Strong analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.

What We OfferAIR offers attractive total
$95,000-$125,000 base salary plus annual target bonus. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
