Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer

Description

We are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will design and implement BI solutions to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your expertise in BI technologies and tools will be essential in transforming complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain BI solutions to optimize data analysis and reporting capabilities.
Utilize Microsoft Power BI to create interactive dashboards and visualizations.
Implement and manage data integration processes using tools like Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake.
Design and execute ETL workflows to ensure data is accurately transformed and loaded.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver customized BI solutions.
Perform data modeling and analysis to support business objectives.
Monitor and troubleshoot BI systems to ensure optimal performance.
Apply DAX technologies to enhance the functionality and efficiency of BI tools.
Provide training and support to users for effective utilization of BI systems.

Requirements

Proficiency in Business Intelligence technologies, including Microsoft Power BI.
Strong understanding of data integration tools such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake.
Experience with ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Solid knowledge of DAX technologies for advanced BI development.
Familiarity with data modeling and visualization techniques.
Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with diverse teams.
