Certified Kubernetes Administrator OR Application Developer

Elite Technical is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer with hands on experience with a AWS Cloud, Kubernetes and DevOps related projects. The selected candidate will perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of our client's legacy web application, along with supporting their AWS migration effort. The selected candidate will work with appropriate stakeholders to define system scope and objectives and establish baselines. Establishes project standards and processes. Breaks down software requirements and creates highly complex systems.

This position is a main remote but onsite meetings may occur in Reston VA. The interview process will be a video, then a mandatory onsite/F2F interview in Reston VA. This is a long term (12 month PLUS) contract position.

- BS Degree. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
- Required Certifications (x2): AWS Certified Developer AND CKE or CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Administrator OR Application Developer)
- 8+ years of Software Development experience
- Hands-on experience supporting an AWS Cloud
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Must have PostgreSQL
- Frontend: Angular 16+, CSS, HTML, React
- Backend: Spring Boot framework, Java (v21 is preferred) development experience with ability to develop unit / integration test cases using Junit /TestNg.
- Must have ability to understand and work with code developed by other developers.
- Must have extensive experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (in English).
- Good to have experience working with API Management Tools.
- Good to have Experience working with GIT/BitBucket.
