Computer Operator I - Data Center Operations
Location: League City, TX (On-site)
Schedule: Shift work, including weekends and holidays

We're looking for a Computer Operator I to help monitor and manage our 24/7 Data Center operations. This is a junior-level role perfect for someone ready to build on foundational skills and grow toward intermediate proficiency in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

Monitor and manage two production computing environments.
Perform daily operational tasks, including Production Control Scheduling.
Execute Initial Program Loads (IPLs) and server reboots.
Assist with system recovery during hardware or system failures.
Document errors and follow escalation procedures.
Support hardware servicing and collaborate with vendors.
Contribute to team training and process improvements.

What We're Looking For

Education: High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years in computer operations or related field.
Skills:

Strong attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Bonus Points: Computer-related certifications.
