Custom Software Engineering Manager (Accenture LLP; Mountain View, CA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Custom Software Engineering Manager in Mountain View, CA, and the job duties are as follows:
- Design, develop, and test custom software solutions across multiple system components or applications.
- Create implementation or integration approach for applications and components.
- Design and code applications in line with programming standards and interface specifications.
- Architect development strategy for applications and components.
- Coordinate development streams in line with overall program(s) timing and milestones.
- Build deployment plan, including the development plan and schedule, keeping in line with overall project timeline.
- Design, build, assemble, and configure application or technical architecture components using business requirements.
- Team with stakeholders on application and component design to secure buy-in.
- Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of experience in the IT consulting industry. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, employer will accept 2 additional years of experience in the IT consulting industry.
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
- Utilizing Jira, Jenkins, Maven, and GitHub for DevOps and version control;
- Developing software applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful APIs;
- Managing databases utilizing PostgreSQL, MySQL, and IBM Db2;
- Leveraging cloud technologies, utilizing Google Cloud Platform services including Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage;
- Testing frameworks utilizing JUnit; and
- Monitoring performance utilizing Splunk.
Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
