Job DescriptionOracle's Data Center Engineering team is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with background in designing mechanical systems for data centers.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 12+ years of experience in mechanical design for critical infrastructures
- Experience with air- and liquid-cooled topologies, Direct-To-Chip, Manifold, CDU, QD, UQDB, RDHX and redundancy schemes
- Working knowledge of ASHRAE standards
- Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Applied Physics, or related technical discipline.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- Proficiency with CAD/BIM (AutoCAD/Revit)
Responsibilities - Develop standardized mechanical design packages for white and grey space, including modular reference designs for air- and liquid-cooled solutions.
- Develop equipment specifications covering capacities, performance curves, materials compatibility, environmental ratings, certifications/compliance, and detailed submittal requirements.
- Define architectures for redundancy and reliability; ensure concurrent maintainability and alignment with uptime targets.
- Lead cross-functional integration across mechanical, electrical, and controls by defining interfaces and dependencies, and produce clear, coordinated design deliverables.
- Link design intent to commissioning and validation, and feed lessons learned back into the standards.
- Own the standards lifecycle and ensure compliance with ASHRAE/local codes and internal policies.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
