We have Immediate opening for an SAP Enterprise Architect with strong hands-on experience to support a long-term engagement with our client. Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Location: Houston, Texas - Onsite

Duration: Long Term

Primary Responsibilities

• Target State Architecture: Define the end-to-end roadmap for S/4HANA Utilities, transitioning legacy IS-U and EAM processes to the modern Digital Core.
• ECC S/4 Migration Strategy: Lead the decision-making for Greenfield vs. Brownfield approaches and govern the execution using SAP Activate methodology.
• Clean Core Governance: Enforce architectural guardrails to move custom code to the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), ensuring the core remains upgradeable.
• Utilities System Integration: Orchestrate complex integrations between SAP and non-SAP energy systems, including GIS (Esri), AMI (Smart Meters), and ADMS (Grid Operations).
• Data & Security Strategy: Oversee enterprise data governance and ensure the landscape meets NERC CIP and other utility-specific regulatory compliance standards.
• Executive Advisory: Act as a "Transformation Partner" to the CIO and VP of Business Transformation, presenting architecture risks, KPIs, and value-realization metrics.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 12+ years in SAP, with at least 5 years in an Enterprise Architect capacity.
• Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP for Utilities (IS-U) or S/4HANA Utilities, specifically Meter-to-Cash and Device Management.
• Asset Management: Proven experience with SAP EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) for large-scale physical infrastructure (Linear Assets).
• Cloud & BTP: Hands-on experience with SAP BTP for integration (CPI) and extensions, as well as cloud hyperscale's (Azure/AWS).
• Frameworks: Mastery of TOGAF and SAP Activate. Experience with LeanIX or Signavio for enterprise modeling is highly preferred.
• Communication: Must be able to translate complex technical "spaghetti" into clear strategic narratives for C-suite stakeholders.
