Our company is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused User Support Specialist to join our dynamic Information Technology team. This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who excels in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional technical support to attorneys and business professionals. The User Support Specialist will serve as a frontline resource for troubleshooting, user education, and system support, playing a key role in maintaining the firm s high standard of technological excellence. This position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team, contribute to critical IT initiatives, and support a cutting-edge litigation practice recognized nationwide for its excellence.
Responsibilities:

- Determine source of concern by interviewing users on telephone, email, or help desk ticket response.
- Educates users by answering questions, interpreting operating instructions, and providing references.
- Determines source of error by reviewing procedures and actions taken by user and instructing user to perform diagnostic procedures.
- Resolves problems by providing corrective instructions, consulting with coworkers.
- Improves documentation by writing revisions and entering fixes into a knowledge base.
- Evaluates software by testing ease of use and applicability.
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, and establishing personal networks.
- Test Microsoft operating system patches for Windows.
- Build and deploy user machines.
- Video conferencing setup and support.
- Assists with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of help desk experience required, preferably in a law firm environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Windows 11, and Adobe Acrobat is required.
- Experience with a broad range of computer applications, especially legal applications, preferred.
- Strong professional demeanor, customer service, and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively and directly with attorneys and business professionals.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and meet multiple and/or tight deadlines effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, professional environment.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and solve problems, anticipate needs, take initiative, and act with moderate supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail.
