Position Summary
We are seeking an Industrial Engineer with expertise in Pre-Determined Motion Time Systems (PMTS) to support labor standards development and work measurements. This role will apply MOST, MODAPTS, and/or MTM methodologies to establish engineered labor standards, improve productivity, and support operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives. This is for an Automotive OEM.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain engineered labor standards using MOST, MODAPTS, and/or MTM.
· Conduct time studies and motion studies to identify improvement opportunities.
· Perform process mapping and workflow analysis.
· Use data analysis tools to evaluate performance and recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
· 1-2 years of relevant experience in industrial engineering or work measurement.
· Demonstrated expertise in MOST, MODAPTS, and/or MTM.
· Strong capability in conducting time studies and creating engineered standards.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in Excel (and ideally Power BI, SQL, Minitab, or similar).
· Excellent documentation and communication skills.
o Spanish language skills a plus.
Desired Qualifications
· Certification or formal training in MOST, MODAPTS, or MTM.
· Experience in automotive, assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution.
· Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green Belt a plus).
· Experience with WMS/LMS (labor management systems) and standard time databases.
