Lead Data Engineer (only w2)

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Engineer to design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade data metrics and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-performance data models and pipelines using Snowflake and Databricks, while enabling business insights through Tableau and Amazon QuickSight dashboards. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data models and metrics using Snowflake and Databricks
• Translate complex business requirements into reliable and high-performance analytics solutions
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines with strong metadata, lineage, and documentation
• Implement data modeling techniques (star schema, dimensional modeling, fact & dimension tables)
• Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across analytics layers
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Amazon QuickSight
• Collaborate closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams
• Optimize query performance and cost efficiency in cloud data platforms
• Support ongoing enhancements and maintenance of analytics infrastructure

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with Snowflake and Databricks
• Solid understanding of data modeling and metrics design
• Hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL (advanced level)
• Experience with Tableau and/or Amazon QuickSight
• Knowledge of data governance concepts including metadata, lineage, and documentation
• Experience working in hybrid/onsite environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS data services
• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools
• Prior experience supporting enterprise analytics platforms
