Job Overview:
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the organization's global networks. This includes working with enterprise-class routing, switching, load balancing, and firewall solutions in data centers, cloud environments, and across the WAN. You will collaborate with peer engineering teams to implement network changes efficiently, test and validate solutions, and maintain network integrity through ongoing configuration maintenance. Additionally, you will play a critical role in incident management, responding to and resolving network-related incidents, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to enhance network reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain global network infrastructure, including routing, switching, load balancing, and firewall solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement, test, and validate network changes.
• Ensure network integrity through ongoing maintenance of configurations.
• Respond to and resolve network-related incidents in a timely manner.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for network issues.
• Contribute to post-incident reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain established service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards.
• Potential off-hours work to ensure project timelines are met.

Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Commitment to incorporating security into all decisions and daily responsibilities.
• 3+ years of related experience in network engineering.
• 3+ years configuring and managing firewall policies of Next Gen Firewalls.
• 3+ years working with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
• Experience with Enterprise Routing and Switching Technologies for data center and campus networks.
• Proficiency in networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP/RMON, and RDP.
• Experience or working knowledge of load balancing technologies.
• Experience with VLANs and Spanning Tree Protocol.
• Understanding of DNS and DHCP.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for network issues.
• Ability to work independently or in groups, managing multiple projects effectively.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field.
• Understanding of Python and Ansible Tower.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN and software-defined networks in a spine/leaf architecture.
• Experience with network security mechanisms such as VPN, IPSEC, and SSL.
• Experience with IPAM solutions.
• Understanding of Web Application Firewalls and SSL certificates.
• Basic knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms.

Pay Range: $50- $57
