DescriptionThe PC Technical Support Technician provides hands-on, on-site technical support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role supports production-line computer systems, office hardware, network-connected devices, and industrial printers, ensuring stable operation and uptime for all plant technology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide on-site desktop and hardware support across production and office areas.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile RF devices, and peripherals.
- Support computers, phones, printers, and industrial printing equipment.
- Perform break/fix troubleshooting for end-user devices, servers, and network-connected systems.
- Assist with implementing and maintaining network servers and Active Directory accounts.
- Re-image and deploy computers as required.
- Troubleshoot basic network issues involving routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Track and manage hardware inventory and e-waste.
- Maintain reliable Windows 11 system performance.
- Reset wireless access points, including ladder-based work in elevated areas.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to maintain production uptime.
Essential Skills & Qualifications- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to remain effective under pressure.
- Capable of making timely, informed decisions.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with desktop support, break/fix troubleshooting, printer support, and Windows 10.
Additional Desired Experience- Basic network troubleshooting (routers, switches, WAPs).
- Experience re-imaging and deploying computers.
- Willingness to complete ladder safety training for elevated work.
Physical Requirements- Regular use of PC equipment.
- Occasional bending, crawling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. for hardware installation.
- Ability to climb ladders to access and reset wireless access points.
- Ability to climb 20-25 ft. industrial man-ladders (some without cages) to reach catwalks/mezzanines while carrying hardware.
- Ability to navigate tight spaces with overhead cabling and HVAC equipment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
