Position: Information Security Engineer 3
Location: Chandler, Arizona(Hybrid)
4 day Shift: Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon(10 hour shift)
Duration: Contract (12 - 24 months)

Core Job Responsibilities

Focused heavily on quality of investigation and documentation:

• Monitoring security alerts generated by Splunk
• Investigating alerts such as:
  • Phishing emails
  • Suspicious links
  • Internal security events
• Documenting case work properly, including:
  • Clear investigation steps
  • Evidence attachment
  • Accurate conclusions
• Ensuring alerts are handled thoroughly and consistently

Expectation:

• Cover weekend shifts
• Work in a 4x10 schedule
• Handle security alert investigations in Splunk/CrowdStrike
• Document investigations cleanly and accurately
• Fit well with the team personality-wise

Preferred Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in an enterprise environment
  • Not just MSSP experience
• Strong SOC background
• Hands-on experience with:
  • SIEM tools (Splunk)
  • EDR platforms (CrowdStrike)
  • Security monitoring systems (SIMs)
• Comfortable leading or independently managing investigations

Pay Range: $55- $60
