Summary
- Resolve high-priority technical challenges by investigating unfamiliar issues, researching solutions, and collaborating across teams to ensure stability and resiliency
- Contribute to Global Multi-Batch a high-visibility, firm-wide initiative to refactor overnight processing and enable accurate start-of-day and intraday views of:
- Holdings
- Positions
- Cash
- FX
- Analytics across global regions
- Collaborate directly with investors (traders, portfolio managers, and other tech-savvy business users) to ensure solutions meet front-line needs
- Engineer across the stack front-end, back-end, APIs, and databases to improve reliability and scalability of trading systems
- Share knowledge, mentor peers, and help the team continuously evolve engineering practices
- 10+ years as a systems engineer or developer, with strong computer science fundamentals
- Proficiency in modern development (e.g., .NET, C#, Java), databases, and APIs
- Flexibility across tech stacks and a strong grasp of core engineering concepts
- Investment management or trading systems knowledge is a plus
- Charles River (CRD) experience is highly valued
- Proactive problem-solver with strong follow-through, communication, and collaboration skills
