Software Developer

MTSI is seeking a software developer with 5+ years' experience to assist in modeling and simulation software development of multi-domain sensor and weapon systems. The person in this position will be a member of a team developing C++ software for modeling and simulation applications.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience developing multi-domain DoD modeling and simulation software.
• Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Experience developing models for aircraft, missiles, spacecraft, and sensor systems.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills.
• Advanced C++ software development skills.
• Willingness to collaborate with project managers and technical leads to build roadmaps for product development.
• Desire and ability to function in an Agile team environment.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps processes
• Ability to develop and maintain product documentation.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience developing weapon system models
• Familiarity with sensor systems (e.g., EO/IR imaging systems, radar)
• Intermediate Python and MATLAB development skills.
• Master's degree in a technical discipline.
