Senior Business Systems Analyst/Test Analyst

Bravotech a leader in IT staffing and staff augmentation services, seeks a contract Senior Business Systems / Test Analyst role for a preferred client in the Dallas, Texas area. The Senior Business Systems / Test Analyst serves as a key bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners. This role is responsible for analyzing business systems, coordinating testing and quality assurance efforts, managing reporting and data insights, and supporting project delivery across enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate is both technically hands-on and mission-minded, bringing strong analytical skills, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to service.

• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Coordinate system enhancements, integrations, and upgrades across business applications.
• Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders, developers, vendors, and leadership.

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for system enhancements and releases.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring business readiness and sign-off.
• Track, manage, and validate defect resolution through to closure.
• Promote best practices for system quality, data integrity, and reliability.

• Use SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) to query, analyze, and validate data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI to support leadership and operational decision-making.
• Create ad-hoc and scheduled reports using SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.

• Coordinate project activities, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Support project planning, status reporting, risk tracking, and documentation.
• Assist with change management, training coordination, and end-user support.
• Uphold stewardship of resources and alignment with organizational priorities.

  Must have 5+ years of experience
