Job Title: Senior Information Security Consultant
Location: Hybrid (near Orlando, Florida strongly preferred)
Duration: 6+ months

Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Information Security Consultant to support and advance our security initiatives.
This role will work closely with leadership to develop and implement IT security policies, enhance cloud and vulnerability management strategies, and provide technical oversight across a diverse technology stack. The ideal candidate will bring a balanced blend of hands-on expertise and strategic vision.

Required Experience & Skills:
- Certifications: CISSP or equivalent (e.g., SANS GIAC, GSEC).
- Email Security: Experience with Proofpoint.
- Endpoint Protection: Familiarity with ESET (or Microsoft Defender).
- Vulnerability Management: Hands-on experience with Rapid7, Qualys, or similar.
- Cloud Security: Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
- Microsoft Ecosystem: Experience with Intune, Office 365, and corporate Microsoft security tools.
- IT Governance: Proven ability to craft and implement IT/security policies.
- Enterprise Applications: Exposure to systems like Oracle in a security context.
- Change Management: Use of JIRA or similar platforms to manage IT changes.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with CASB tools or strategy (optional but beneficial).
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and executive teams.
- Previous experience supporting large enterprises or acting in an advisory capacity.
