Location: Mason City, IA / Ames, IA (Initially onsite, then hybrid)
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 base annual salary plus excellent benefits

IT Infrastructure Director (Player/Coach)

Our client is seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure Director to lead technology operations across 55+ locations and approximately 400 users throughout Northern Iowa and Southern Minnesota. This is a unique opportunity for a leader who enjoys balancing strategy, team leadership, customer service, and real-world technical problem solving.
You'll lead a team of 5-6 IT professionals while helping standardize infrastructure, improve processes, strengthen documentation, and elevate customer service. One day you may be discussing technology strategy with executive leadership; the next, you'll be traveling to a location helping resolve a networking issue alongside your team.
What You'll Bring
IT leadership experience with infrastructure and networking expertise
Strong customer-service mindset and people leadership skills
Experience supporting multiple locations or distributed operations
Ability to create structure, documentation, and operational consistency
Willingness to be onsite and travel throughout the territory
