Job Overview
We are looking for a Product Specialist to support application data maintenance and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for upgrades and new software releases. The ideal candidate will have strong UAT, documentation, troubleshooting, Jira, and SharePoint experience, along with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute UAT using predefined test scripts and document test results.
- Identify, document, and communicate application defects and issues.
- Use Jira to track and manage bugs and issues.
- Maintain testing and project documentation in SharePoint.
- Evaluate system functionality against business policies, regulations, and requirements.
- Recommend functional and technical improvements.
- Analyze the impact of product changes, fixes, and enhancements.
- Participate in product and design reviews.
- Perform impact analysis and help establish priorities for fixes and enhancements.
- Provide basic application support and respond to product-related questions.
- Accurately assess and assign defect severity.
- Provide input for training materials and technical/functional documentation.
- Communicate clear and accurate project and testing status updates.
- Collaborate with vendors, technical teams, and business users.
- Support approximately 1,200 test scripts during each planned software release.
Required Skills
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience
- Experience with Jira or other ticketing/defect tracking systems
- SharePoint experience
- Ability to troubleshoot basic application/system issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong customer service skills
Preferred Background
Candidates with experience as a Product Specialist, Business Analyst, UAT Analyst, QA Analyst, Application Support Analyst, Functional Tester, or Systems Analyst are encouraged to apply.
Note: Programming or advanced technical development skills are not required. The focus is on functional testing, application evaluation, defect documentation, user support, and coordination with business and technical teams.
