Salary: $115,000 - $250,000 per year
A bit about us:A leading AEC SaaS/technology firm is hiring an Account Executive to own the Greater Boston territory.
The company supports architecture, engineering, construction and owner organizations across the full technology lifecycle, from Autodesk design and cloud solutions through implementation, consulting, training, support and proprietary software. With approximately 450 employees, 130 technical experts and 29,000 active customers across North America, Account Executives have a significant technical and service organization behind them rather than selling a standalone product.
This is a relationship-driven field sales role with an established customer base and long-term account ownership. Most of the territory is concentrated throughout Greater Boston and the Route 495 corridor, with additional coverage across New England.

Job DetailsResponsibilities
- Own and grow an established AEC territory across Greater Boston and New England
- Develop long-term relationships with architecture, engineering, construction and owner organizations
- Sell a mix of Autodesk technology, cloud solutions, implementation, consulting, training and support
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts while continuing to develop new business across the territory
- Lead consultative sales cycles that involve technical stakeholders, solution specialists and service teams
- Partner with internal technical experts to scope customer needs and position the right combination of software and services
- Stay involved throughout implementation and ongoing service delivery to maintain continuity and grow the relationship
- Manage a diverse book of business across multiple revenue and margin categories
- Stay current on Autodesk products, subscriptions, cloud offerings and changes across the AEC technology landscape
- Spend meaningful time in the field with customers and prospects throughout Greater Boston
Desired Qualifications
- B2B sales experience in AEC technology, construction technology, software, professional services or a related market
- Experience selling into architects, engineers, contractors, owners or other commercial design/construction organizations strongly preferred
- Autodesk, BIM, Revit, Civil 3D, Autodesk Construction Cloud or broader AEC technology knowledge preferred
- Strong consultative selling and long-term account management experience
- Comfortable selling software together with implementation, consulting, training or support services
- Proven ability to manage a territory, grow existing accounts and develop new business
- Strong learning agility and comfort with evolving technical products and solutions
- Based in or around Greater Boston and comfortable with regular local customer travel
