We are seeking a hands-on Pega Lead Developer with expertise in Pega Case Management and system integrations. This role combines technical leadership with active development responsibilities. The ideal candidate will design and build high-quality Pega solutions while guiding team members, enforcing best practices, and partnering with architects, product owners, and integration teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Pega applications, with a strong emphasis on case management and workflow orchestration.
- Actively contribute to development, including rules, flows, integrations, UI, and decisioning, as a hands-on lead.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable Pega designs.
- Ensure solutions align with Pega Guardrails, performance standards, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
- Design and implement end-to-end case lifecycles, including stages, steps, SLAs, approvals, and escalations.
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and hands-on guidance.
- Participate in performance tuning and defect resolution.
- Support deployment activities and production troubleshooting when needed.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of IT experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Pega engineering and platform experience, with significant development.
- Strong expertise in complex Pega Case Management.
- Proven experience with Pega system integrations (REST/SOAP, services, connectors).
- Experience leading or mentoring development teams.
- Pega certifications such as CSSA and/or CLSA.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud migration experience.
- Experience with Pega Infinity.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Pega.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
