Genesis10 is currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Pega - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Irving, TX or Chandler, AZ. This is an 18+ month contract opportunity. We are seeking a hands-on Pega Lead Developer with strong expertise in Pega Case Management and system integrations. This role combines technical leadership with active development responsibilities to design and build high-quality Pega solutions. The ideal candidate will mentor team members, enforce best practices, and partner closely with architects, product owners, and integration teams on workflow automation projects.
Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and implementation of Pega applications, with a strong emphasis on case management and workflow orchestration
- Actively contribute to development (rules, flows, integrations, UI, decisioning) as a hands-on lead
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable Pega designs
- Design and implement integrations using REST and SOAP services, connectors, and services
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and hands-on guidance
- Participate in performance tuning, defect resolution, and support deployment activities
Requirements: - 8+ years of IT experience
- 5+ years of Pega platform experience, with significant hands-on development and engineering
- Strong expertise in Pega Case Management and complex case management (Jira/Confluence a plus)
- Proven experience with Pega system integrations (REST API/SOAP, services, connectors)
- Solid understanding of Pega rules engine, flow rules, decision tables, and data pages
- Experience leading or mentoring development teams
- Experience from an enterprise-level organization
Desired skills: - Pega certifications such as CSSA and/or CLSA
- Experience with cloud migration
- Experience with Pega Infinity (latest versions preferred)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Pega
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Pay range: $58.75 - $66.75 per hour
