We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Integration Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level integrations between our LifePro and our Pega platform. In this role, you will be the bridge between core legacy insurance systems and modern digital workflows. You will focus on building robust APIs, data mapping workflows, and microservices patterns to optimize customer journeys and automate back-office insurance operations.

  • Develop Connectors & Services: Build and consume RESTful and SOAP web services, utilizing Pega’s Integration Designer to establish secure connectors and services.
  • Data Mapping & Transformation: Map complex insurance data schemas (JSON, XML, CSV) between LifePro''s core structures and Pega’s enterprise-class data models.
  • Workflow Automation: Collaborate with Pega Architects to optimize case management flows, ensuring that data fetched from LifePro accurately triggers case stages and business rules.
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Implement and maintain robust integration deployment pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Git.
  • Troubleshoot & Optimize: Diagnose complex code errors, system bottlenecks, and integration failures across both platforms.
  • Testing: Design and execute end-to-end integration tests utilizing tools like Postman and SoapUI.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Pega Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience developing within the Pega Platform.
  • Pega Certification: Certified System Architect (CSA) required; Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) preferred.
  • LifePro Knowledge: Strong understanding of the EXL LifePro policy administration system, including its underlying database schemas, batch processes, or API capabilities.
  • Integration Protocols: Mastery of API development using REST, SOAP, Web Services, and JSON/XML structures.
  • Database Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Core Programming: Experience with Java, JavaScript, or object-oriented design patterns.

Preferred Soft Skills

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities tailored to complex architectures.
  • Clear communication skills to bridge technical gaps with Business Analysts.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
