Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Lead Developer to lead enterprise-wide platform governance, security automation, compliance, and data protection initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Snowflake administration, security, governance, RBAC, automation, identity management, and cloud security within large enterprise or regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Governance & Security
- Establish Snowflake Center of Excellence frameworks, standards, and governance practices.
- Lead remediation of security and audit findings.
- Implement CyberArk integration for key-pair authentication.
- Implement Dynamic Data Masking and Dynamic Data Classification across Snowflake environments.
- Implement enterprise-wide data tokenization using Protegrity.
- Establish secure credential management using AWS Secrets Manager and/or Conjur Vault.
- Implement automated service-account credential rotation.
- Stabilize and document Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) processes.
Automation & Integration
- Collaborate with ServiceNow and identity governance teams to automate user provisioning workflows.
- Develop Snowflake APIs for ServiceNow and identity-management integrations.
- Automate user access provisioning and infrastructure deployment across environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or comparable technologies.
- Develop automation using Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
- Establish comprehensive Snowflake resource monitoring and alerting.
Testing & Validation
- Conduct testing of ETL/ELT processes following security implementations.
- Validate data integrity across security and governance frameworks.
- Review and maintain Snowflake use-case inventories, ownership, and cost alignment.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive testing and monitoring frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of enterprise data-platform governance experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Snowflake development, administration, security, and governance.
- 3+ years of experience implementing enterprise security and governance frameworks.
- 2+ years of privileged access management and identity governance experience.
- Proven experience with audit remediation in regulated environments.
- Experience leading large-scale automation and integration initiatives.
- Strong experience with Snowflake security, RBAC, Dynamic Data Masking, and Dynamic Data Classification.
- Experience with CyberArk PAM and SailPoint IIQ/IdentityNow.
- Experience with ServiceNow workflow development and automation.
- Experience with AWS Secrets Manager and credential-management solutions.
- Experience with tokenization and data-protection technologies.
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Certification
- Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Certification, preferably Security or Architecture.
