Snowflake Solution Architect

For our client we require a Snowflake Architect.

Role Title: Solution Architect

Job Responsibilities:

-The Solution Architect owns the end-to-end technical design of the OneWA EDW platform, translating OFM's Workday-to-Snowflake reporting requirements into an architecture that supports self-service analytics and production go-live readiness.

-Defines the overall data flow across the RAW ? REFINED ? CURATED pipeline,

-Sets the architectural standards for Python-based Workday API ingestion (including CDC and incremental loading),

-Establishes the dbt modeling approach across functional schemas (accounting, assets, budget, customers, FDM, payments, suppliers).

-Designs how Informatica IDMC/CDintegrates with Workday, Snowflake, Python/dbt, and Power BI/SAP BusinessObjects to support the Inventory ? Control ? Deliver ?

-Observe governance maturity model, and defines the approach for capturing lineage on custom Python pipelines that CDcannot auto-discover.

-Architects the PII masking approach and sets technical guardrails for DEV/QA/Pre-PROD/PROD environment design, working closely with the EDW CI/CD Engineer to ensure deployment pipelines and promotion paths are built to the intended architecture rather than dictating pipeline mechanics directly.

-Supports all workstreams rather than a single track, partnering with the Technical Lead, Data Governance Lead, and Delivery team.

-Defines non-functional requirements performance, scalability, monitoring/alerting, and recovery/rollback design that feed the Production Go-Live readiness milestone, and evaluates where AI-enabled capabilities (e.g., Snowflake Cortex AI for natural-language querying over the CURATED layer, automated anomaly detection during reconciliation testing) can be layered in without added infrastructure.

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong experience architecting cloud data warehouse solutions on Snowflake and enterprise data governance tooling (Informatica IDMC/CDGC) is required, along with the ability to make and defend architecture decisions.
