Senior Data Quality & Snowflake Migration Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Data Quality & Snowflake Migration Engineer in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:
* Design and implement data quality and validation processes for large-scale cloud data migrations
* Profile source data to identify accuracy, completeness, consistency, duplication, and formatting issues
* Develop SQL-based validation rules, reconciliation processes, and exception reporting
* Perform source-to-target mapping, transformation analysis, and data validation throughout the migration lifecycle
* Build and support ETL/ELT processes for data cleansing, transformation, integration, and migration
* Validate record counts, key data elements, transformations, and overall accuracy between source and target environments
* Investigate data quality issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate remediation efforts
* Automate data processing, validation, and quality checks using SQL and Python
* Develop reporting and monitoring solutions to track migration progress, exceptions, and data quality
* Support testing, user acceptance, production deployment, and post-migration validation activities
* Partner with data engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to establish data quality and migration requirements
* Maintain data integrity, lineage, and dependencies across complex enterprise datasets

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong experience with Snowflake and advanced SQL development
* Hands-on experience with enterprise data migration, integration, and reconciliation initiatives
* Experience developing and implementing data quality controls, validation rules, and automated checks
* Strong knowledge of source-to-target mapping, data transformation, and field-level validation
* Experience with ETL/ELT development and modern data integration practices
* Proficiency with Python for data processing, automation, or validation
* Experience with AWS or similar cloud-based storage and data environments
* Strong understanding of data profiling, cleansing, standardization, and duplicate identification
* Experience investigating data issues and performing root-cause analysis
* Knowledge of data lineage, dependencies, and data integrity principles
* Experience developing exception reporting and managing data remediation efforts
* Experience supporting migration testing, production deployments, and post-implementation validation
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
