Snowflake Data Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Snowflake Data Consultant in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based data solutions and ELT pipelines
* Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
* Build and optimize data integration, transformation, and ingestion processes
* Develop and maintain complex SQL, data models, database objects, and automation workflows
* Support real-time and batch data processing initiatives
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data platform performance
* Implement data quality, governance, and security best practices
* Participate in Agile development activities, including planning, testing, code reviews, and deployments
* Support production environments and resolve data-related issues
* Contribute to process improvements, architecture discussions, and technical best practices

REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or ETL/ELT development
* 4+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
* Strong experience with SQL development, query optimization, and performance tuning
* Experience building and supporting scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions
* Proficiency with Python or other modern programming languages for data engineering
* Experience with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and analytical data structures
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
* Experience with data integration, change data capture, and large-scale data processing
* Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
* Experience working in Agile development environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
