Overview
- We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer / SAP HANA amp; Snowflake Developer with strong hands-on experience working with SAP HANA, Snowflake, SQL, data modeling, and SAP ECC/S4 data structures.
- The ideal candidate should have a strong development background and experience working with complex SAP business data, data integration, transformation, and modern cloud data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake and SAP HANA.
- Work extensively with SAP ECC/S4 data structures and business data.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines for integrating SAP data with Snowflake.
- Write complex SQL/SQLScript queries for data extraction, transformation, and processing.
- Design and implement effective data models and ER diagrams.
- Perform data integration and transformation between SAP HANA, SAP ECC/S4, and Snowflake.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
- Support data quality, validation, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with data engineers, developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Implement and support CI/CD practices for development and deployment.
- Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Required Skills
- 12+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering / Software Development
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA and Snowflake
- Mandatory: SAP ECC/S4 data understanding
- Strong knowledge of SAP business data and data structures
- Advanced SQL/SQLScript development skills
- Strong knowledge of Data Modeling amp; ER Diagrams
- Experience with ETL/ELT, data integration, and transformation
- Strong developer-oriented data engineering background
- Experience developing and optimizing data pipelines
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment practices
Nice to Have
- Coalesce experience
- SAP BW experience
- Experience with modern cloud data engineering platforms
- Experience with automated data quality and validation frameworks
- Experience integrating SAP data with cloud data warehouses
