Join an enterprise data and analytics organization building a centralized approach to managing its cloud-based data ecosystem. The environment includes modern data warehouse, analytics, business intelligence, governance, and transformation platforms. This role will take primary ownership of platform administration responsibilities currently distributed among developers, leads, and managers while expanding expertise across additional technologies over time.

• Standard business hours with only occasional after-hours availability for significant production or cloud-service issues.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Administer enterprise cloud data and analytics platforms, with significant focus on Snowflake and an expanding Sigma environment.
• Manage users, roles, permissions, databases, schemas, workspaces, access controls, and platform security.
• Administer BI platforms such as Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or comparable enterprise technologies.
• Evaluate requests for new databases, workspaces, roles, or access and determine the appropriate solution based on actual need.
• Support platform availability, access, configuration, governance, and operational troubleshooting.
• Use SQL for provisioning, security, configuration, and other administrative activities.
• Apply Python and automation techniques to streamline repetitive administrative processes.
• Partner with technical teams and business users to ensure platforms are configured and used effectively.
• Learn additional platforms through hands-on knowledge transfer and progressively take ownership across the broader environment.

Are You an Experienced Data Platform Administrator Ready to Make an Impact?

• Bring hands-on administration experience within enterprise data, analytics, or BI platforms.
• Demonstrate Snowflake administration experience, including responsibilities such as user management, roles, databases, schemas, permissions, security, or platform operations.
• Bring hands-on administration experience with at least one BI platform such as Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or a comparable enterprise solution.
• Sigma experience is highly valued but not required.
• Demonstrate strong SQL skills for administrative and operational use cases.
• Bring Python knowledge that can support scripting or automation.
• Understand platform access, authentication, security, governance, and role-based permissions.
• Be capable of investigating business and technical requests rather than simply executing tickets.
• Be willing and able to learn Sigma and additional data platforms.
• Communicate effectively across technical and business stakeholders.
• Relevant platform certifications are beneficial but not required.
