Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Lucernex Systems Administrator / Business Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the Lucernex platform, supporting critical real estate, construction, procurement, and financial business operations.
This position combines application administration, business analysis, system implementation, and technical problem-solving. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, technically proficient, and passionate about leveraging technology to improve business processes and drive operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
Application Administration & Production Support
- Administer, maintain, and optimize the Lucernex platform and related business applications.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and timely resolution of production issues.
- Manage system configurations, workflows, user security roles, permissions, and data integrity.
- Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Partner with software vendors and internal technology teams to support enhancements and issue resolution.
Business Analysis & Solution Design
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into scalable system solutions and application configurations.
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop process documentation, workflow diagrams, functional specifications, and user support materials.
System Implementation & Enhancements
- Lead and support system implementations, upgrades, and enhancement initiatives.
- Configure, test, deploy, and validate new functionality and system changes.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production readiness activities.
- Participate in integration, reporting, and data migration projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions that align with business objectives.
Reporting & Technical Development
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, and data analysis solutions.
- Utilize JavaScript to support system functionality, troubleshooting, and integrations.
- Investigate and resolve data quality issues and discrepancies.
- Support integrations with procurement, finance, and operational systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Business Systems Analysis, or a similar role.
- Advanced experience with JavaScript development and troubleshooting.
- Advanced experience with SQL, including query development, data analysis, reporting, and performance troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms and business-critical applications.
- Experience participating in or leading full lifecycle system implementations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience administering Lucernex or other Accruent solutions.
- Background supporting lease administration, facilities management, construction management, or real estate systems.
- Experience with procurement and sourcing applications.
- Knowledge of commercial real estate and construction business processes.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, and data migration projects.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
