Job Description
We are seeking a Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java/J2EE, AWS cloud services, and Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code and a proven ability to architect, deliver, and scale secure enterprise applications while mentoring teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex enterprise applications using Java/J2EE.
- Architect and implement solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and API Gateway.
- Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for provisioning and managing AWS resources.
- Develop and consume RESTful web services with attention to performance, security, and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership, establish best practices, and guide code quality and architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable plans.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote continuous learning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues to ensure stability and performance.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend tools and practices to enhance delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 9+ years of Java/J2EE development focused on enterprise applications.
- Expert-level Java with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security.
- Extensive AWS experience and strong understanding of cloud-native architectures.
- Proven design and implementation of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Designing, developing, and consuming RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Strong grasp of microservices architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and agile methodologies.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging patterns.
- Hands-on with containerization and orchestration tools.
