We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong experience in Manual Testing, API Testing, and Test Automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery by designing, executing, and maintaining effective testing strategies across web applications and APIs. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and validate REST APIs.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Support release validation and production deployment testing activities.
- Contribute to CI/CD testing strategies and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure testing best practices and quality standards are followed across projects.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Manual Testing.
- Expertise in API Testing using Postman and REST APIs.
- Automation testing experience with Selenium or Playwright.
- Knowledge of JSON, HTTP protocols, and API validation.
- Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of SQL for backend/database validation.
- Healthcare domain experience.
- Basic programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with test automation framework design and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
- Proven experience in manual and automation testing across web applications and APIs.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in cloud-based environments.
- Exposure to performance and security testing.
- Relevant QA certifications (ISTQB or equivalent).
