Data Quality Analyst II

Role Summary
A Data Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of data within a healthcare data environment. This mid- to senior-level role involves analyzing large datasets, developing automated reporting solutions, and implementing data quality standards. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to support government health programs by detecting and preventing fraud, waste, and abuse through robust data management and quality assurance practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from multiple sources to identify errors, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement processes to enhance data quality, including data cleansing and transformation techniques.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of datasets, particularly within APS and other structured and unstructured data types.
• Create, refine, and support automated data reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and SQL.
• Document data quality procedures, prepare reports, and recommend process improvements to stakeholders.
• Design and develop dashboards and scripts to monitor ongoing data integrity and quality metrics.
• Perform statistical tests and validation checks to assess data quality and support decision-making.
• Provide training and support to internal users and stakeholders on data quality practices and tools.
• Collaborate with teams to improve data collection, storage, and governance standards aligned with industry best practices.
• Conduct peer reviews of team member outputs to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a data analytics or data quality role, preferably within healthcare or government sectors.
• Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, R, Python, and AWS Quicksight.
• Strong knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and data modeling principles.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and conditional formatting.
• Experience working within agile frameworks such as SAFe or Scrum, with tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• This position requires eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance. In accordance with federal law, U.S. citizenship is required.

Publishing Pay Range: $44.00 - $48.00 Hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
