Job Role: Dynatrace Consultant
Experience: - Minimum 8+ Years
Location: - Denver, CO (Hybrid)
We are seeking an experienced Dynatrace Consultant with min 8+ years of overall IT experience, including strong expertise in application performance monitoring (APM), observability, and Dynatrace platform implementation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing monitoring solutions to ensure high availability and performance of enterprise applications.
Roles and Responsibilities
Guide effective use of agentic IDEs for complex, multi-module or cross-service changes, Establish review practices and quality checks for AI-generated code
Mentor team members on balancing autonomy, correctness, and maintainability in AI-assisted development
Design system architectures that support AI-augmented and agentic development workflows
Define guardrails, standards, and governance for the use of autonomous coding agents
Evaluate impact of agentic IDEs on SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, security posture, and technical debt.
Consulting & Leadership Expectations. Ability to act as a strategic advisor to clients and stakeholders
Proactively identify gaps in monitoring and automation opportunities, Strong communication and presentation skills-able to lead workshops and executive reviews
Capable of driving adoption and governance for observability practices, Ability to handle critical production issues and war room scenarios
AI & Automation Focus Leverage AI-driven insights (Davis AI) for: o Intelligent Ing and anomaly detection o Root cause identification o Predictive performance insights
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive monitoring and operational tasks
Integrate Dynatrace with automation frameworks and incident management systems
Drive adoption of AIOps practices across teams
Educational Qualifications: -
Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
Skills: -
Mandatory skills
Experience in performance engineering / monitoring / observability
Deep hands-on expertise in Dynatrace platform: o APM, Real User Monitoring (RUM), Synthetic Monitoring o Infrastructure monitoring (hosts, containers, Kubernetes) o Log analytics and distributed tracing
Strong understanding of Dynatrace AI capabilities
Experience in cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform)
Expertise in: o Monitoring strategy & observability architecture o tuning, noise reduction, and incident correlation o Root cause analysis and performance diagnostics
Experience integrating Dynatrace with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, REST APIs, etc.)
Nice to have
Experience with other observability tools (AppDynamics, Datadog, New Relic)
Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, microservices architecture Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, etc.)
Familiarity with SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets) Exposure to performance testing tools and practices
Experience in enterprise or healthcare domain is a plus L4 L7 (Tech Lead Architect Principal) Proven experience architecting and delivering systems using agentic IDEs Ability to: Define architectural intent that agents can follow
Break features into agent executable tasks
Govern AI autonomy (guardrails, permissions, reviews) Integrate agentic workflows into CI/CD pipelines Experience supervising AI agents across: Multi service systems Legacy modernization
Large codebases / monorepos Strong understanding of:
