Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Product Analyst to support high-visibility enterprise initiatives. This role connects business needs, user problems, and product strategy to executable solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with Product Owners, development teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define user workflows, create user stories, and deliver impactful solutions in a complex, rapidly changing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and product requirements.
- Define and optimize user workflows and business processes.
- Create, refine, and maintain user stories and backlog items in Jira or a comparable platform.
- Facilitate story mapping and value stream mapping exercises.
- Break down large initiatives and epics into actionable, testable stories.
- Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities within business processes and system workflows.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical teams.
- Take ownership of requirements discovery and drive discussions to identify product direction and priorities.
- Evaluate completed work against approved acceptance criteria and business outcomes.
- Mentor less-experienced Product Analysts.
Project Scope
- Support a critical enterprise-wide TennCare implementation initiative, navigating Medicaid-related processes and regulatory requirements.
- Support the FirstIQ team in building a new Contact Center solution on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Help bridge a functionality gap with the JUDI claims system by leveraging Google Cloud Platform technologies.
- Analyze and document data movement, integrations, and file transfer processes between systems.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience as a Product Analyst or Business Analyst supporting Agile product teams.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex analysis from discovery through delivery.
- Strong experience creating and refining user stories, along with experience in story mapping and value stream mapping.
- Proficiency in problem framing, requirements analysis, and epic decomposition.
- Ability to leverage data to support product decisions and recommendations.
- Experience collaborating with Product Owners, engineers, Quality Engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of SQL or comparable query tools for data analysis and investigation.
- Experience using Jira or a comparable backlog-management platform.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management, or a regulated industry.
- Experience supporting contact center products, platforms, or operations.
- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience working with PEGA platforms.
- Experience with complex products involving multiple systems, integrations, APIs, and data dependencies.
- Understanding of system-to-system workflows and data movement.
