Summary

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Product Analyst - Remote for a contract position with a Leading Pharmacy Benefit Manager located in Eagan, MN. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This position is 100% remote.

Compensation: $52.00 - $54.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:

As a collaborative, self-directed member of a Scrum team, this role connects business needs, user problems, and product strategy to clear, executable solutions. The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy while working closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, System Engineers, and other delivery teams to support the onboarding and implementation of a major new client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work independently to provide product analysis for complex initiatives from discovery through implementation and acceptance
  • Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to understand user needs, business problems, desired outcomes, and product priorities
  • Translate complex business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting analysis
  • Break down epics and large initiatives into appropriately sized, testable, value-focused stories
  • Ensure stories are ready for development by identifying business rules, dependencies, data needs, risks, assumptions, and edge cases
  • Actively participate in backlog refinement, planning, reviews, demonstrations, retrospectives, and other Scrum events
  • Collaborate throughout delivery with System Engineers, Quality Engineering, and other Scrum team members to resolve questions and support shared understanding
  • Evaluate completed work against approved acceptance criteria and intended business outcomes
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and areas of ambiguity early, and provide informed options and recommendations
  • Use data, structured analysis, and stakeholder feedback to support decisions and evaluate trade-offs
  • Communicate complex information clearly to business, technical, operational, and leadership audiences
  • Maintain accurate and actionable backlog information using Jira or comparable product management tools
  • Mentor less-experienced Product Analysts and contribute to improvements in Product Analysis practices

Senior-Level Expectations:
  • Work autonomously within a collaborative team environment, using sound judgment to determine next steps and move work forward with limited direction
  • Analyze complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple systems, stakeholders, or delivery teams
  • Bring structure and clarity to incomplete, conflicting, or rapidly evolving information
  • Anticipate downstream impacts, dependencies, operational considerations, and delivery risks
  • Influence decisions through evidence, strong analysis, and a clear connection to user and business value
  • Navigate competing priorities and stakeholder perspectives while maintaining focus on product outcomes
  • Recognize when independent action is appropriate and when collaboration, alignment, or escalation is necessary
  • Build trusted relationships across business, product, technology, operations, and external partner groups
  • Demonstrate accountability from initial discovery through delivery and acceptance
  • Guide stakeholders and team members toward shared understanding without relying on formal authority

Primary Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in product analysis, business analysis, or a related role within a product or technology delivery environment
  • Experience working as an embedded member of a Scrum team and actively participating in iterative product delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex analysis from discovery through delivery and acceptance
  • Strong skills in problem framing, requirements analysis, user story development, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement, and epic decomposition
  • Ability to connect product requirements and decisions to user needs, business priorities, and measurable value
  • Experience collaborating with Product Owners, engineers, Quality Engineering, Scrum Masters, business stakeholders, and delivery partners
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-support skills
  • Ability to work with autonomy while maintaining close alignment with the Scrum team, product direction, and organizational priorities
  • Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environments
  • Experience using Jira or a comparable backlog-management platform

Desired Skills:
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management, or another highly regulated industry
  • Experience supporting contact center products, platforms, operations, workflows, or customer-service capabilities
  • Experience with complex products involving multiple systems, integrations, data dependencies, stakeholders, or external partners
