Senior Product Analyst
This role supports a product team delivering a clinical data management and rule-building platform for a large healthcare organization. The platform enables users to create, validate, and manage complex clinical rules, policies, and composite logic. The team is modernizing these workflows into a unified, cloud-enabled platform to improve efficiency, consistency, transparency, and compliance.
This role connects business needs, user problems, and product strategy to clear, executable solutions. Will lead complex analysis from discovery through delivery and acceptance, ensuring work is well understood, aligned to business value, and ready for development and testing.
The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy while working closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, Engineers, Scrum Masters, external partners, and other delivery teams. This role requires strong judgment, accountability, and the ability to create clarity and maintain momentum in a complex, rapidly changing environment.
Key Responsibilities
? Lead product analysis for complex initiatives from discovery through implementation and acceptance.
? Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to understand user needs, business problems, desired outcomes, business objectives, and product priorities.
? Translate complex business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting analysis that supports business outcomes and customer value.
? Break down epics and large initiatives into appropriately sized, testable, value-focused stories.
? Ensure stories are ready for development by identifying business rules, dependencies, data needs, risks, assumptions, edge cases, and operational impacts.
? Lead and actively participate in backlog refinement, planning, reviews, demonstrations, retrospectives, and other Scrum events.
? Collaborate throughout delivery with System Engineers, Quality Engineering, and other Scrum team members to resolve questions and support shared understanding.
? Evaluate completed work against approved acceptance criteria, intended business outcomes, and user needs.
? Identify risks, dependencies, areas of ambiguity, and process improvement opportunities early, and provide informed options and recommendations.
? Use data, structured analysis, and stakeholder feedback to support decisions, evaluate trade-offs, and connect recommendations to measurable business outcomes.
? Communicate complex information clearly to business, technical, operational, and leadership audiences.
? Maintain accurate and actionable backlog information using Jira or comparable product management tools.
? Mentor less-experienced Product Analysts and contribute to improvements in Product Analysis practices.

? Guide stakeholders and team members toward shared understanding without relying on formal authority.
? Understand how products, processes, and initiatives support broader business capabilities and value streams, and use that perspective to inform analysis and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
? Significant experience in product analysis, business analysis, or a related role within a product or technology delivery environment.
? Experience working as an embedded member of a Scrum team and actively participating in iterative product delivery.
? Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex analysis from discovery through delivery and acceptance.
? Strong skills in problem framing, requirements analysis, user story development, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement, and epic decomposition.
? Ability to connect product requirements and decisions to user needs, business priorities, and measurable value.
? Experience collaborating with Product Owners, engineers, Quality Engineering, Scrum Masters, business stakeholders, and delivery partners.
? Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-support skills, including experience analyzing data, integrations, and cross-system dependencies.
? Ability to work with autonomy while maintaining close alignment with the Scrum team, product direction, and organizational priorities.
? Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and stakeholder communication skills.
? Ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environments.
? Experience using Jira or a comparable backlog-management platform.
? Working knowledge of SQL or comparable query tools for data analysis, validation, and investigation.
? General familiarity with how systems integrate and exchange data (e.g., APIs, data feeds, or system-to-system dependencies) sufficient to support requirements gathering and cross-system analysis.
