Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a Systems Engineering Senior Specialist ? Mission Systems to join our Greenville, TX team. This position is responsible for Requirements, Development Support, and Integration of Operator Workstation capabilities multiple platforms and programs. Responsible for issue investigation and resolution. Responsible for submitting Bid and proposals. Responsible for documenting status and issues in Jira/Confluence.
Essential Functions:
- Work with customer, system engineers and system architects to develop requirements.
- Test and troubleshoot Operator Interfaces on various platforms and programs.
- Communicate effectively with software developers to explain requirements and use cases when needed.
- Abilty to obtain CompTIA Security+ within 12 months
- Active DOD TS/SCI Clearance is required to be considered
Qualifications:
- Bachelor?s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant systems engineering experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum 4 years of prior systems engineering experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years of prior systems engineering experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of systems engineering life cycle.
- Demonstrated Systems or Software Engineering experience as a Subject Matter Expert working with Operator Interfaces.
- Demonstrated knowledge writing capability/product requirement specifications.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- IBM DOORS Requirements Management Tool
- JIRA/Confluence and the Agile process
- Experience with RC-135 Operator Interfaces
- Security+ Certification
