Hybrid role: Resource is required to come into Canton or Merriweather office 3 times per month (DMV area only)
Overview:
Client is seeking an experienced, proactive IT Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the internal recruitment team of a leading healthcare organization in the DMV area. In this role, you will act as a strategic talent partner, driving full-lifecycle recruitment for critical technology, software development, and data analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a full-lifecycle requisition load averaging 15-20 active technical positions across software engineering, data engineering, solutions architecture, and system administration.
Proactively source, engage, and recruit passive top-tier technology candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Telemetry, HireEz, and internal databases.
Conduct intake and strategy calls with internal hiring managers to understand technical needs, establish expectations, and align on sourcing strategies.
Lead regular weekly or bi-weekly candidate pipeline touchpoint meetings with client stakeholders.
Drive the complete candidate lifecycle from initial screen through salary negotiation, offering, and closing.
Maintain meticulous record-keeping and data integrity in the PeopleSoft Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Deliver an outstanding candidate and internal client experience, maintaining professional communication standard across all interactions.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of dedicated IT/Technical recruitment experience.
Proven experience in proactive talent sourcing ("hunting") rather than relying solely on inbound applicant flow.
Foundational technical literacy across software development (SDLC), data/analytics, cloud architecture, and infrastructure domains.
Demonstrated experience utilizing enterprise Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and maintain high data compliance.
Demonstrated job history stability with a track record of performance and retention.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
Local residency within the DMV area and ability to travel to Canton or Merriweather, MD offices up to 3 times per month.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background working in a fast-paced staffing agency/contingent search environment.
Prior experience utilizing PeopleSoft ATS, Telemetry, or HireEz.
Experience recruiting for senior-level data engineering, software development, and cybersecurity roles.
